first got on our radar around this time last year. First, he helped lead Riverfield to their first ever state tournament appearance as a sophomore and then he had a very strong offseason while playing on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Clinton was back at it again this weekend and we saw new elements of his game really standout throughout the tournament. At this time last year, Clinton was more of a shooter and was a guard that definitely would look to score first. This weekend, Clinton seemed to be at his best when he was facilitating and getting others involved. Granted, he has some very talented players around him but he did a really good job of controlling the flow on the offensive end of the floor. And his scoring hasn’t gone anywhere. He can still fill it up but it was good to see that his game is continuing to evolve and he’s becoming more of a point guard moving forward.
