Brumbaugh is a natural scorer and is very tough to guard. At 6’5”, Brumbaugh can shoot over defenders off the dribble and has a quick trigger in catch-and-shoot opportunities. Off the dribble, he punishes late help defense with floaters and mid-range pull-ups. Brumbaugh is also strong driving to the rim and is difficult to stop due to his length.

Brumbaugh is building on a really good sophomore season by playing up, and at the Jayhawk Jam he showed a lot of versatility and athleticism. He’s got a lot of guard skills and can play big as well. He is really good at grabbing a rebound and turning it up the court quickly. Brumbaugh is solid from beyond the arc and is really good at putting it on the floor to get to midrange opportunities.

Brumbaugh looks to take on a much bigger role for 3A Goodland after getting his feet wet as a freshman. He is a long wing who brings a lot of skill. He can put it on the floor and create his own shot, and can hit from the perimeter. Due to his athleticism, he runs the floor well and can defend guards on the perimeter. Saturday will prep the talented sophomore for a big leap as a sophomore.
