I’m a fan of the two-way impact Mhoon provides from the wing guard position as he’s able to finish above the rim, make shots on the perimeter and play tough on-ball defense. Mhoon can stuff the stat sheet with impact as a shot blocker, rebounder and playmaker as well. When you factor in his athleticism, offensive production and defensive projection, he seems like a prospect who will have strong college interest from high major programs, and he already holds early offers to Cal and Rutgers. Mhoon also won the Mathematics award and sophomore athlete award from The King’s Academy, showing he takes his schoolwork seriously as well. Usually safe to bet on a kid with that level of maturity to continue to work hard and mature his game as he develops.

Like most Sophomores Mhoon is still learning the game, though he brings a good understanding, and a versatile skill set to the court. He’s a multi positional prospect for now. Guard skills to handle, vision for quality ball movement, size to rebound. He’s an alert defender, active, talks, moves his feet, usually in good help position. He can create off the dribble, square up for perimeter shots, and score in the paint using his length. 13.4, 6r on the season

is currently the number one player in NorCal’s and one of the nations top guard prospects in his class. Boss brings a strong blend of skill, athleticism, and length. Mhoon creates problems for defenders with his ability to score at all three levels. He’s at peace in catch-and-face scenarios, getting into his one-dribble pull-up with ease and good elevation. He doesn’t need much space to rise up, which makes him a tough cover even against tight contests.
What sets Mhoon apart is his ability to break defenders down off the dribble without over dribbling. He attacks closeouts with purpose, plays well off the ball by slashing and coming off pin downs. Around the rim, he consistently finishes with touch—especially with his left hand. Despite being a scoring threat, he also reads the floor well when penetrating the paint, often dropping pocket passes off to his bigs.
Mhoon’s combination of size, skill, and playmaking makes him one of the more complete wings in the 2028 class. He’s only going to keep trending upward nationally.

NorCals top 2028 plays with passion and energy, he’s been on the big stage before. His skill set continues to expand. We’re seeing him handle, and attack from all angles on the court, he gets to the paint. The long wiry G/F/W handles, and passes like a guard. He uses his length around the rim for points and rebounds. He looks to have improved range and shooting form putting up 3’s in a confident manner. The early morning game we watched he was saddled with 4 fouls before half-time, didn’t foul out remained aggressive.

Standing 6’4 growing, and a frame to fill. He’s shown a good overall set of skills on both sides of the ball. He was the only participant from Northern California invited to the USA JNT Camp in Colorado Springs, CO. Amongst many talented prospects, his ability to defend, and move the ball stood out. A long arm defender, alert, with good effort defending away from the basket. He can handle to generate buckets, use his size in the paint for points, and rebounds. He’s averaging 15.3pts, 6rebs, 2.5asts. He’s a good passer. Recently picked up a DI offer.

He’s a long wiry prospect with a frame to fill, still growing. He has a skill set that allows him to be effective from different places on the court. He did some ball handling up top with good passing, he used his dribble to attack from the baseline, perimeter, and was a triple threat from the high post.
