Corley is an improving frontcourt prospect with a developing offensive skill set. He can score with either hand on the block, has touch on an open midrange jumper and is athletic enough to finish above the rim. Corley runs the floor well, plays with a high motor and continues to make strides as his overall game develops.

Corley had a lot of eyes on him with numerous college coaches in the gym to watch him, and he didn’t disappoint as he put up big numbers throughout the event for James River. The 6’7” big man was active on the glass on both ends of the floor, he showed good touch around the rim and finished well through contact, he showed his bounce finishing above the rim in the paint, and he showed that he’s been working on his range hitting multiple shots out to 18 feet.

Bodi Corley Bodi Corley 6'8" | C James River-Midlothian | 2027 State VA is a prospect most college coaches in the area have seen and have high on their boards but I fully expect him to have a monster senior year. He has a legitimate chance to win player of the year and gain more college interest. He has a handful of high-level Division 3 offers and some Division 2 interest, and with a strong senior season, he will gain more attention from scholarship programs. He has a high motor, runs the floor well, plays above the rim, and is a very good interior defender.

Bodi Corley Bodi Corley 6'8" | C James River-Midlothian | 2027 State VA has been one of my favorites to track this summer. He is another very athletic big man and debatably one of the best bigs we have here in Richmond, regardless of class. Bodi is a 6’8 physical monster who excels at scoring inside with his muscle and around the rim. He has developed more of a consistent 15-foot and in jumper, which has helped expand his game. He is a walking double-double machine and has been one of the most talked-about players all summer long. Bodi will most likely be a player of the year candidate if he continues the same production into his senior season. It’s hard to believe he hasn’t gotten a legit scholarship opportunity thus far; he checks all the boxes. A couple things stand out to me about Bodi is his high motor and relentless effort, and his team-first mentality; he always is trying to do what’s best for the team and always gives his maxium effort every time he steps on the court. Moving forward, expect his name to be one you see a lot this upcoming season as he looks to lead James River to another strong season.

He averaged over 12.3 PPG and was great at rebounding the ball. He is an excellent athletic big who runs the floor well and does a great job posting up and sealing his man in the low post. He has developed a more consistent mid-range jumper. His recruitment has started to pick up this summer, and it’s easy to see why with his versatility on both sides of the ball.

Bodi Corley Bodi Corley 6'8" | C James River-Midlothian | 2027 State VA is already a widely known name in Virginia, and this weekend he will be at the Atlantic City Hoop Group Jam Fest and Summer Jam Fest in Manheim playing with Team Richmond 17u. Bodi is a very physical and athletic big who dominates on both sides of the ball, scoring in the post, defending at a high level, and making the right plays on both sides of the ball. He is ready for another breakout weekend.

Bodi was one of the event’s leading scorers on the weekend and had a monster performance in each game, with a double-double in every game. He is a very athletic big who runs the floor well and rebounds at a high rate. College coaches were talking about him all weekend and will be highly sought after throughout his senior year. Bodi is one of the top bigs in VA and among the top available players in the state.

Bodi Corley Bodi Corley 6'8" | C James River-Midlothian | 2027 State VA is a 6’9 F who is an athletic, strong force. Once he gets the ball in the paint, it’s hard to stop him. Posts up hard and finished through contact. Ran the floor at an elite level, finishing with multiple monster putback dunks. Defends the paint and showed he can guard smaller guards on the perimeter. Saw a lot of double teams and showed the ability to hit the open man. Look for him to flourish as his 12-15 foot jumper game continues to grow—high character, coachable. Bodi Corley Bodi Corley 6'8" | C James River-Midlothian | 2027 State VA came away from the event as the MVP with some monster performances. He had a 20-point and 15-rebound performance in their first game. Bodi gained interest from every college program in attendance, with many schools stating he is a scholarship-level kid.

Bodi Corley Bodi Corley 6'8" | C James River-Midlothian | 2027 State VA has continued to make a strong case as one of the top big men in the region. At 6-foot-8, he brings a combination of size, athleticism, and motor that every coach loves.

Corley rebounds at a high level, runs the floor exceptionally well, and consistently plays above the rim. Whether it’s protecting the basket defensively or finishing with authority in transition, his athleticism is impossible to ignore. He is active in ball-screen situations on both ends of the floor and has developed into a reliable interior presence.

What separates Corley is his effort. He impacts possessions without needing plays called for him and does many of the little things that help teams win. Expect him to be one of the premier frontcourt players on display this weekend.

Wilcox’s teammate with Team Richmond, Corley is an intriguing frontcourt prospect who combines athleticism, size, and a motor that runs high. He is a skilled interior scorer who can operate effectively on the block with either hand, showing impressive touch and comfort finishing around the basket. Corley possesses good mobility and footwork for his size, allowing him to establish position, move efficiently in traffic, and impact the game in multiple ways offensively. He also plays with a high basketball IQ, consistently making smart decisions and understanding how to create advantages in the paint.
