Ben showed some serious potential as a prospect on Sunday. The 6’5” sophomore was able to work inside with his length, but impressed me most with his ability to stretch the floor. He went on a run of three made triples in the matter of a couple minutes in the first half, mostly shooting off the catch. Mortenson was finding success inside in the second half as well, showing great touch around the basket and the ability to fight through contact. Mortenson is another name to watch in the Lakeville North pipeline that continues to produce top level talent.
