A competitive guard who doesn’t let his lack of size deter him, Samayoa looked to put constant pressure on defenders by attacking the painted area off the dribble. He still needs to work on finishing around the rim, which will come as he gains some more strength and size, but his mentality and assertiveness are fun to watch. He has good footwork that he pairs with handles to create space to get his shot off, and he’s a good passer who sees the floor well.
