The Stetson-commit solidified North Oconee’s front court last season upon transferring in from Loganville Christian. Banks is a sturdy big man. He excels when diving from the high post, able to catch and slam on the run. He’s physical when posting up, turning to a variety of post moves to score down low. Pourchier is comfortable facing up and can be utilized in pick-and-pop settings as his outside shot has continued to improve.

An early cut through the middle of the lane led to a monster slam that ignited not only Banks but the entire North Oconee roster as the Titans rolled over the War Eagles. Pourchier went to work in the post throughout the day, showcasing a blend of power and finesse. Banks dropped in a floater, a hook shot and netted a fadeaway jumper in the lane. When Pourchier wanted to physically overpower the opposition he did, finishing with three drunks including an alley oop in the fourth quarter. Banks pounded the backboards, coming away with a pair of putbacks as he finished with 18 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists.

has established himself as one of the top forwards in his class and his stock could continue to rise considering his new situation at North Oconee. He’s 6’8 with a solid frame and has the athleticism to compete above the rim. Pourchier is a versatile inside scorer, able to operate efficiently out of the high and low posts. He could play either a stretch 4 or a skilled 5 at the college level, depending on the fit. Pourchier hasn’t received his first offer yet but it could very well be on the horizon.

has quickly ascended to the top PF spot on our board after an All-State season at Loganville Christian. Pourchier pairs a sturdy 6’7 frame with a polished skillset. He can stretch the floor with his outside shooting ability and handles the ball well on the perimeter. Meanwhile, he can score it from either post and isn’t afraid to finish above the rim. It’s only a matter of time before Pourchier’s recruitment takes off.
