This kid is NICE. I have always been impressed with Carter but he impressed me the most on Tuesday against the Titans. He was phenomenal. The Walsh commit was just having fun out there it looked like. He was putting on a show. His athletic ability is next level. Super springy and long. He has great confidence in his skills. He is shooting the ball on pull-ups better. His handle seems to be tighter. He has always had great finishing ability and it showed once again. Carter is a very good basketball player.

One of the top performers on the Prep Hoops Circuit this spring and summer and has continued his impressive play this high school season. Carter is one of the top passers in the state and had a few no look dimes against Holland Springfield. Carter also knocked down one off the bounce 3-pointer but still struggles with his jumper. Walsh has a history of recruiting bigger guards and developing their shooting ability and if Carter can get a reliable jumper, he could be the next Walsh Cavalier to transfer up to the Division I level in a few years.

all spring and summer. A top performer at almost every event he attended, Carter uses his athletic gifts and relentless pressure on the basket to score at will in the paint. Carter’s passing is another aspect that always needs to be addressed because he sees the floor like a point guard. Carter has picked up multiple scholarship offers from Division II and NAIA programs and I expect him to be fought over at those levels.

Carter has been turning heads all summer, but at the Grit Region Finals, he made some necks sore. He averaged just shy of 20 points per game and 5 assists per game. He’s fast and smooth into the open floor and finishes there with consistency. Carter is a solid all around athlete that can make plays from multiple spots on the floor.
