About Avery

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a shifty guard that can change speeds and directions at anytime. I am also a high percentage 3 pt shooter that plays aggressive defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a quiet person off the court and I am working on being more vocal on the basketball court. I am also trying to strengthen my mindset on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In the last few years I have had some personal challenges to face, but basketball and my dad has helped me to deal with these difficult situations.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to play college basketball at a school that will benefit from my skillset to help them win.

Avery Lamar Avery Lamar Avery Lamar 5'9" | PG/SG Mountain View | 2027 State CO took a massive leap from his previous freshman year campaign, transforming from little minutes and no scoring to averaging over 11 PPG in his junior season. The versatile 5’9 guard can hurt defenses in a plethora of ways, whether it’s getting open from behind the arc or attacking the rim, Lamar will certainly get the job done. In addition to his deep scoring bag, Lamar’s court vision is astounding, pinpointing his teammates on the cut for easy assists. Expect Lamar to continue rising in the rankings as I expect him to get into a serious groove come his senior year.
