Nelson is a dual-sport stud for Glenville as he was the quarterback for the state championship Tarblooders. An impressive wing athlete, Nelson has a strong frame which should allow him to stretch the field as a thrower and compete physically for Central State on the gridiron. On the hardwood, Nelson is a 3-and-D wing who shoots a high percentage off the catch and usually defends the best bigger scorer on the opposing team. After making it to the state title game last season, Glenville still has the talent to make another state title push. Don’t let their 10-6 record fool you, Nelson just had 22 points in a double-digit victory at Brunswick over the weekend.
