A prospect who broke out at our Prep Hoops Ohio State Tournament, Ramos helped lead his team to the 16 U championship at the event. Already with some experience leading his team at the varsity level, Ramos led his team in scoring in a win over Padua as a sophomore. With his strong frame and high motor, Ramos was productive as an interior scorer who can play either forward position. Benedictine could be a program on the rise in the Cleveland area with a new head coach this season and Ramos is a crucial returning piece of the puzzle for the storied program that’s looking to get back amongst the top of northeast Ohio.

Ramos was great in his role. He is an explosive vertical athlete who grabbed boards and rim-protected at a high level. He is a tough, physical player. He is willing to create and dictate contact. He was able to finish around and above players often. He is acrobatic and has some really nice body control you do not see for a lot of players his size. He has great energy and bounce to his play.

Grassroots Elite made their way to the 16 U championship against Nova Village thanks to their interior presence with size and athleticism from guys like Ramos. A wing who wants to play above the rim, Ramos had a big dunk to cap off a semifinal victory over the Ohio Saints in what was a competitive game. Ramos also ran the floor and got a few breakaway layups and had a sweet coast to coast layup that was his best move of the day. Interesting prospect for a new coaching staff at Benedictine to build with and re-establish a winning culture within the program.
