The West Allis Central wing brings excellent size (6-5) and impressive athleticism to the court as just a ninth grader. He’s also poised and anxious to make a name for himself as one of the elite players in his class. Edwards’ farther, Arroyo Edwards Sr., was a standout player at Milwaukee King, earning honorable mention all-state honors as a junior and senior.

Edwards stood out as one of the most complete, polished players in attendance. Boasting a long, athletic 6’5” frame, the West Allis Central prospect effortlessly navigated to his spots on the floor. His lethal combination of athleticism and skill created constant mismatches for opposing defenses. When fully locked in, Edwards proved to be a multi-dimensional threat capable of scoring efficiently from all three levels. Expect to see his game transition seamlessly to the varsity level. Edwards will be making noise in no time in the Woodland Conference.

Arroyo is another high ceiling prospect in the state’s 2030 class. At 6’5 he has fluid athleticism, moving in a way not many young players his size can. He could take a rebound and weave through defenders to go coast-to-coast, he could score out of the post, or he could knock down the open jumper. When he got a clear path to the rim, Arroyo showed he can finish with a two handed dunk. Edwards Jr was an incredibly impressive young prospect at the Ben Howlett Elite Camp. Finding out he was a Class of 2030 prospect really brought our intrigue to a head. He has excellent size and length as a 6’4″ wing, looked athletic in the open floor, and had success finishing up around the rim. The West Allis Central High School freshman has the athletic and physical tools to be considered an excellent long-term prospect in the Class of 2030. Definitely a name to watch out of Wisconsin.
