Kandola’s play was one of the biggest surprises from the event for me. Overall, played a lot more aggressive and strong with the ball than I had previously seen. Looked very confident working off the dribble into one or two dribble pull-ups. Has stood out in the past as a 3-point threat but wasn’t content to settle for only threes and did a great job picking his spots, mixing up his attacks off the catch, and being more assertive with his opportunities. Also did some great work on the glass and really impressed with his overall approach to the game.

Arjun continues to get bigger and more physical on the court, being a well rounded player on both ends of the court. He knows how to seal opponents nicely in the paint, out-bodying opposing players well and having the footwork to get smooth finishes at the rim. He shoots it well from deep and can smoothly get to the rim if defenders close out too quickly. He’s been showing consistent improvement over the last year.
