Jones had a big time year for RJ Reynolds, as the senior came in from QEA and posted a season long stat line of 22 PPG, 6 RPG and 3 APG for the Demons. He was one of the most impactful guards in the 336 public school ranks, and deserves his 50+ spot jump to 232nd in our rankings. He’s shifty and dynamic with an ability to shoot it at multiple levels of the floor. Since it’s his only season with this level of production, there’s still more to learn about him, but he is a definite guy who deserves a college look.

Jones has been one of the biggest surprises of the young season, and the combo guard has shown his ability to fill it up from deep as well. He’s made 28 threes in 6 games while averaging over 29 PPG, and shown a revamped ability to score the ball wherever he chooses. As the Demons gear up to be one of the better teams in the Triad area, look for Jones to continue his torrid start to the year.

Jones is making his mark for RJ Reynolds, with his 31 point performance leading all scorers in the win over Western Guilford. He’s a good shooter, as evidenced by his 5 threes, where he really makes a mark by staying consistent and being . He got to the line as well, slicing through the defense and putting pressure on defenders to make a play. On defense, he’s solid and can affect the game by getting in passing lanes and knocking the ball away from opposing ball handlers.
