Cherokee Trail has been entertaining to start the season. They have balance, they play with pace, and they have one of the state’s best backcourts. Of that backcourt tandem is Anthony Ayon Anthony Ayon 5'10" | PG/CG Cherokee Trail | 2028 State CO . Ayon has been a consistent force through 11 games as a sniper from deep, a facilitating guard who attacks, and one of the better rebounding guards. He’s averaging 11 points and 3.3 rebounds a game. He went through a stretch as an assertive guard who put up double figures in 9 straight games, and he stretches the floor with his outside shooting. He’s already knocked down 19 3-pointers on the season and will be a guard to watch for the rest of the season. He’s making a rise in the rankings with his eyes on jumping even more.
