About Anjo

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game is energetic, aggressive and fast. I like to use my speed and jumping ability to make steals, block shots and get loose balls. I'm a good shooter from three and effective at getting into the paint and dishing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I enjoy bonding with teammates and friends. Typically, these are one in the same. I really hate to lose but have learned to evaluate the losses and to grow from them. I've gained a ton of basketball knowledge from my AAU Coach BJ Miller.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Since I was a kid, my family and I have always supported Project GiveBack. The mission of Project GiveBack is to provide a vehicle for corporate firms and professionals to give back to the communities where they work and live in by coordinating programs that benefit less fortunate individuals and families, with a focus on children. It is the intent of the organization to uplift communities around

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a sophomore, I was a leader on my team. I believe that leadership is more than words. It is actions and deeds. Being the best player on the team doesn't make you the leader of that team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At the beginning of the 2024 season, I severely sprained my ankle and missed a month of court time. I took that time to work on my shot (shooting from a chair) and to improve my basketball IQ by watching more film.

What type of college are you looking for?

Growth can only come from challenges in my opinion. So, I'm looking for a college that will challenge me academically and athletically. I want hard coaching.
