Anestis was an absolute force against Evanston, showcasing his ability to counter everything the defense threw at him. He demonstrated three-level scoring with clutch shot-making throughout the game. Whether attacking the paint, applying pressure on Evanston’s interior, or using a crafty up-and-under move, Anestis was a constant offensive threat. He also displayed excellent court vision, kicking out precise passes to open shooters, and his ball control was exceptional.

On the defensive end, the senior guard was just as impactful. His fiery intensity stood out as he hounded ball-handlers, used his quick feet to cut off drives, and brought relentless hustle to every possession.

Anestis finished with an efficient 23 points, hitting big shot after big shot to keep Glenbrook South in the game. His efforts were instrumental in nearly pulling off the upset.
