Cox continues improving. The 6-foot-9 forward has become an anchor for Clarke Central, a team off to a 5-3 start after going winless a season ago. Andrea is averaging 13.1 points and 13.7 rebounds. Cox has added muscle to his frame and is becoming stronger at playing through contact. All the natural tools are there to really take off in college as he has terrific length and is bouncy off the floor.

Watching him, it’s clear he’s relatively new to basketball, but he plays with an undeniable attitude. He is a vocal communicator and a strong presence on the back line of the defense. An excellent rebounder who is starting to finish with authority, he is a low-risk, high-reward type of player showing noticeable improvements.
