a lot recently due to Clark’s 4A State Title run that he was a big part of. He reminds me of a running back the way he protects the rock as he gets downhill, and defenders have a difficult time slowing him down without fouling him. He is also capable of creating shots for others, and will dish out slick assists when the opportunity arises. Wright wreaks havoc on defense too, making deflections and coming up with steals (averaged 1.3 a game).

used his quickness to make an impact early, contributing four points and a steal in the first half. In the second half, he added six more points by attacking the rim and getting to the free-throw line. His late free throws were much needed, helping the Chargers close the door. Wright capped off a strong season with another poised performance on the biggest stage.

feasted at the free throw line against Legacy. His deceptive moves and burst helped him slip around defenders, and they often had no choice but to foul him to keep him from getting all the way to the rack. He converted nine of his free throw attempts and finished with 11 points for the Chargers.

was attacking with a purpose on offense, hitting a couple of tough layups, including one where he was falling down and still dropped it in. In addition to his impressive drives, he made two three-pointers and a free throw. On the defensive end, Wright never stopped hustling, pestering opponents all game long.

was another standout for the Clark Chargers. He picked his spots well and got downhill a few times the way he typically does. Defensively, Wright was disruptive, applying steady ball pressure and limiting the Mustangs’ space to operate. His energy and instincts made it difficult for opposing guards to turn the corner cleanly.
