About Amari

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

In high school, I played a bigger role because of my size and physicality. I developed a bully-ball style as a guard, operating in the high post and finishing with great touch around the rim, while also being an exceptional three-point shooter.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

positive energy and leadership, Very coachable, focused, and I put the team before myself while competing at a high level. Bringing energy to defense and offense

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Going from being one of the top scorers on my team to the primary scorer forced me to step into a bigger role. It helped me grow as a leader, and I’ve had a solid season so far while taking on that responsibility.

What type of college are you looking for?

Because I didn’t take academics seriously early in high school, I plan to attend a JUCO to prove that I can succeed at a high academic level and earn the opportunity to be part of a college program. I’m fully committed to improving in the classroom and on the court.
