One of the better under-the-radar 3A guards this year will be Alton. He had a nice showing for Ridge Nation (Blue Ridge) this week, putting up 13 points and 4 assists in a tight loss. Every is a balanced offensive threat who can play as a primary facilitator and set others up, run the pick and roll, score off the dribble, or spot up and knock down shots off the catch. The thing that would take his game to the next level would be more self-created rim pressure, but he will be a good player for a Tigers group that is always in the mix late in the year.

Alton has been an excellent piece for Upward Upstate this spring. His ability to play on the ball and make things happen off the dribble or start off it and work from spot-up looks is important to the balance of their offense, and we should see him step into a big role with Blue Ridge in the winter.
