Expert Analysis

Dixon has a long and lean frame at 6’5″ and continues to grow. He was a bit of a role player in his Freshman season but Henry Clay will need him to be pretty good this season and Allen is ready for the challenge. With his measurables and the ability to score the ball well, especially off the bounce, Dixon has the potential to be a college recruit in the very near future.

I was impressed with Dixon for Henry Clay as they were actually the first game I watched all weekend. Dixon made a handful of jumpers from above the break, stretching the floor off the catch. While Dixon was a stiff slasher, his size and length allowed him to play through contact and finish acrobatically at the rim. Defensively might be where Dixon is the most intriguing as he has the length and foot speed to defend multiple positions and contest shots. Intriguing long term prospect to monitor from Lexington’s 2029 class.

Probably the best freshman in Lexington that very few know about, Allen has a ton of potential. Dixon is long and athletic and seems to play with a really high motor. There’s a lot to like about Allen already and he looks like the future of Henry Clay at this point. As he adds bulk to his wiry frame, Dixon will only get better and better.
