About Alexander

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a dynamic, high-IQ guard who can control tempo, break down defenses, and impact the game as both a scorer and playmaker. I compete on every possession, defend with intensity, and consistently make winning plays.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a relentless, team-first mindset. I’m highly competitive, coachable, and lead by example. I stay locked in, embrace adversity, and hold myself and my teammates to a high standard.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve consistently earned A and B Honor Roll recognition and take my academics seriously. I’m also committed to giving back through volunteering, including helping feed the homeless and preparing care packages for those less fortunate, which has shaped my perspective and character off the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership, communication, and teamwork skills by playing point guard and leading my team on the court. I’ve also built discipline, accountability, and a strong work ethic through maintaining honor roll academics and volunteering in my community. These experiences have helped me grow into a reliable leader and teammate.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve experienced significant personal loss with the passing of my grandmother and my older brother. Going through that adversity has strengthened my mindset, taught me resilience, and helped me develop a deeper sense of purpose, discipline, and appreciation for every opportunity.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will develop me as a complete student-athlete. I want to be part of a competitive, winning basketball program where I can contribute and continue to grow my game. At the same time, I’m seeking a rigorous academic environment that challenges me, supports my growth, and prepares me for long-term success beyond basketball.
