Aidan continued his strong start to his Senior season with 16 points on Thursday afternoon in JSerra’s (CA) tough loss to Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy (TX) 60-42. Fowler played tremendously hard at both ends to keep up with the Eagles talented guard trio and wasn’t phased by the on-ball pressure that he faced and got into the paint repeatedly off the dribble to create for himself and teammates.

Aidan had an inspired performance on Tuesday evening as JSerra was able to hand Roosevelt its first loss of the season. He scored the ball effectively at all 3 levels and was consistently able to create separation from Roosevelt’s talented guard quartet. Fowler is incredibly quick, has a great handle and lateral movement, and competes just as hard on the defensive end as he does on offense.

and as a result defenses are able to focus a lot more attention on Fowler. However, this week Fowler played so well it didn’t appear to matter. In a difficult loss to St. John Bosco, Fowler had 18 points (3 3PM) in the face of constant pressure and harassment. Making it even more impressive was that he was able to create space for himself with JSerra’s diminished court spacing. His handle and excellent quickness allow him to create just enough space to get his shot off even over larger defenders.

averaged 13.5 points this week across JSerra’s two games. Fowler had his strongest game of the week on Wednesday night against Mater Dei, finishing with 19 points and 3 three-pointers. Aidan competed well in this one, having to score over and around defenders he gave up size too. Fowler utilizes a 1 to 2 dribble pull-up move that is effective in creating space against lengthy defenders but improving that shot would make Fowler an even more well-rounded offensive player.
