Fitzgerald can fit into a swing 3 man role either as a secondary guard or as a small forward. I watched the Boylan team play a couple of times at the Rockford East Summer League and he consistently helped impact on both ends with feel and a selfless approach. In the transition phase he filled lanes and can attack off that primary break phase with a couple other quick talented guards. His court vision is adequate as well and he showed that through pitch ahead passes or connecting with teammates on off ball cutters. His IQ and ability to make correct reads keeps offense within flow for efficient opportunities.
