On the spring 2025 circuit, McLaurin used his athleticism, length, and speed to fill a lane on the fast break and then finish above the rim. McLaurin’s polished half-court game includes an accurate mid-range jumper as well as the ability to cut to the hoop for a lay-in. He can also attack the rim off one or two dribbles for a bucket. McLaurin is a tenacious offensive rebounder who can convert on those second chance opportunities with defenders hanging all over his arms. As a bonus to his offensive skills, McLaurin is a plus defender with incredible switch-ability.      

McLaurin is a hybrid-forward who is a walking double double. With his athleticism, quickness and muscular frame, McLaurin thrives in transition and can do some serious work in the half-court too. On the fast break, McLaurin is a natural lane filler who can convert through fouls. On half-court possessions, this agile and tenacious prospect can hit mid-range jumpers and score via dives to the cup as well as by working the offensive glass. McLaurin is a beast on the defensive boards too. Recently McLaurin registered games of 12 points and 12 rebounds versus Shipley School as well as 13 points to go along with 8 rebounds against Sankofa Freedom Academy.
