Expert Analysis
Mark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
A long, lanky and skilled backcourt prospect who is tough to defend due to his versatility and ability to score from deep and off the dribble. Larson overcame a slow start to play well in the second half of Border Select’s loss to Minnesota Splash. He scored the majority of his 11 points in the second half, nailing a couple of treys while also getting to the rim and to the foul line. Defensively, Larson moves well enough on the perimeter to stay in front of quick guards, and he can also sneak down into the lane to block and/or alter shots from behind. Larson’s best basketball is ahead of him as he continues to add weight and strength to his frame.
