Michael Roth | Prep Hoops Scout
Michael Roth began his role as Prep Hoops National Scout in May of 2025, leading the national rankings updates beginning with the class of 2026. Originally hired in 2020 as a senior scout for Prep Hoops Ohio, Michael has years of experience covering each of the major shoe circuits and runs an independent NCAA Approved Scouting Service. Michael graduated from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and began independently covering Ohio high school basketball while in college. Based out of Cincinnati, Michael travels the country scouting the top prospects with a continued focus on Ohio and Kentucky prospects.
