2028 Rankings are Updated

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2028 rankings for Ohio have just been updated! To see the full rankings with over 75 ranked players and almost 100 watchlist prospects, click <a href="http://prephoops.com/ohio/rankings/2028-rankings/">here!</a> This class has a lot of top talent and we'll be providing analysis on all of the top players in this class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The top two prospects remain the same as [player_tooltip player_id='2194651' first='Kameron' last='Mercer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3500902' first='Dylan' last='Zeigler'] both ended their sophomore season as OHSAA state champions. Both players play for Indy Heat, with Mercer up at the 17 U level and Zeigler playing 16 U. [program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red'] teammates [player_tooltip player_id='2751440' first='Xavier' last='Jones'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2822495' first='Keonte' last='Smith'] come in at three and four as the wing duo have high expectations this summer on the EYBL circuit. [player_tooltip player_id='2195059' first='Chris' last='Poellnitz III'] from Toledo St Francis comes in at number five. Sixth ranking is [player_tooltip player_id='2195056' first='Max' last='Joiner'] from Cincinnati Summit Country Day, Joiner helped Summit Country Day to a second straight regional title. Seventh is [player_tooltip player_id='2194986' first='Jashawn' last='Coffey'] of Phenom United, the third straight 3SSB standout in our rankings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With prep programs like Spire, Andrew's Osborne Academy and Western Reserve Academy don't have many prospects from the 2028 which makes these rankings heavily feature OHSAA prospects at this stage. Expect these programs to start adding more big name prospects this summer that will get added to the Ohio 2028 rankings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This update will also include notes on the debut prospects to the rankings as well as stock risers from the winter high school season.
