Cameron Beardsley, 6’0, G, 2021, Valley Heights
A high scoring option who is an intelligent player with the ball in his hands. He is great at scoring in one-on-one situations who is good at drawing the attention of defenders and can score through contact but is also good at getting to the free throw line where he shoots a strong percentage. And all around score who has a clean shot and good eye for place. Beardsley is a 2A Second Team All-State performer who brings a lot of tools to the table.
Jordan Barnard, 6’1, G, 2021, Olpe
An interesting two-way player who looks to connect from 3-point range. Barnard is a 1A All-State honorable mention who can score, create his shot and move well off the ball. is soft touch to a shot and brings good size and length to the guard position. He can create some with his dribble but plays well off the ball and can catch and shoot and find separation well when he needs to get a shot off late in the game.
Mark Bogner, 5’11, G, 2021, Erie
A smart all-around player who can create with his dribble, rebound well on both ends of the floor and score in a variety of ways. He has quick feet and looks to shoot high percentage shots close to the basket but can also connect from three-point range but he has the look and is feeling confident. Bogner averaged 13.8 points, 1.3 assists, 3.4 rebounds and close to one steal per game. Bogner earned 2A All-State honorable mention for his play last season.
Lucas Detter, 6’1, SG, 2021, Pretty Prairie
Detter earned 1A All-State honorable mention honors for his play his junior year. He is a dual-threat guard who can create but also score off the ball. Detter is active on the floor and gets up and down quickly but plays hard defense and looks to force turnovers and create transition looks. A hard worker who is active and athletic and has good size for his position.
Wyatt Eberle, 6’1, G, 2021, Lakeside
Eberle is an aggressive two-way player who looks to make plays using his length and athleticism but also brings a toughness to the floor that helps him inside and around the paint. He fights for rebounds and is good at finding position but can also connect in a variety of ways. An improved player from a year ago, Wberle earned 1A All-State honorable mention honors while averaging 13.9 point, 1.5 assists, 8.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game.
