For some reason or another, these unsigned seniors are still available. Some may have options to choose from while others are still waiting for their first offer. Either way, if these prospects don’t go D-I, they can still be impactful pieces right away at the D-II level. Here are some players that should become a priority as last second diamonds in the rough.

6-8 [player_tooltip player_id="868095" first="Giancarlo" last="Bastianoni"]-Sanchez – Trinity Christian
[player_tooltip player_id="868095" first="Giancarlo" last="Bastianoni"]’s recruitment has heated up during the shutdown, picking up offers from Presbyterian, Clayton State, Barry and Lincoln Memorial. He is a skilled post with a physical frame. Giancarlo can do damage from the high post with his mid-range shot and passing ability. He runs the floor well and is deceptively athletic, able to finish on the run above the rim in one fluid motion. Don’t be surprised if more D-I’s get involved.

6-7 [player_tooltip player_id="948489" first="Varun" last="Danak"] – Brookwood
A skilled slender combo-forward that can play inside and out, Danak posted 19.4 points, 11.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 blocks. If he is ability to add muscle and maintain his quickness, Danak will get even better. His agility and smooth overall skill set makes him an intriguing prospect.

6-5 Zack Vickers – Cherokee
Arguably Georgia’s most underrated post in Class 7A, Zack Vickers had a tremendous year as the reliable third option at Cherokee. While stars [player_tooltip player_id="754245" first="Taihland" last="Owens"] and [player_tooltip player_id="869583" first="Elijah" last="Tucker"] got most of the spotlight and the High Major offers, without Vickers’ steady presence Cherokee wouldn’t have won 23 games. Vickers is a workman-like post that scores inside and out. He is a rugged rebounder and has quality footwork downlow. Zack passes well inside the paint and his versatility with his soft three-point touch makes him a floor spacer. Oglethorpe, Reinhardt and Dean College have shown interest.

6-6 [player_tooltip player_id="868151" first="Trent" last="Gordon"] – Duluth
Schools looking for an elite athlete inside to rebound and block shots should look at [player_tooltip player_id="868151" first="Trent" last="Gordon"]. The bouncy big is an absolute pogo-stick that has a quick load time and springy lift. He lives above the rim and uses his athleticism to elevate over defenders. Gordon will need to add some more muscle and diversity to his skill set, but he could become an immediate energy giver once he gets on the floor.
