With the possibility of losing the entire AAU season this year, I will try and mention all 115 juniors ranked.

I like to take a look at my annual “Top-5’s”.

Every player has their 1 skill they usually excel at.

It’s just a fun way to take a look at players’ elite skills in different categories.

We move over to the 12 players who are very versatile. These are the players who can play and defend multiple positions and bring different skills to the court then a typical player. My top-5 in this particular category could of been on many lists, but that’s what makes them versatile!

Here are my Top-5:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="809672" first="Jason" last="Elder"] (Cienega)

-Easily the least known of the top-5 but he essentially plays PG for his HS then will come down and defend the 1-5 for the Bobcats. He makes plays for others and blocks shots, rebounds and scores it many ways.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="703815" first="Kevin" last="Kogbara"] (Peoria)

-He almost got the nod for top spot as he can essentially play the 1-5 for the Panthers as well. He defends post players and can defend some wings/guards. He shoots the 3 then will sling a beautiful pass to a teammate. Very strong to rebound with a nice handle.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="809694" first="Moses" last="Demalek"] (Paradise Valley)

-Another point forward type for the Trojans. He has a thick body and can shoot the 3 plus make impressive passes. He defends the 2-5 and plays all 5 positions too.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="590829" first="DaRon" last="Holmes II"] (Millennium)

-He could of been in like 5+ categories, which made him perfect for this one. The nationally ranked player can defend most anyone in HS and is a very good shot blocker. He shoots the 3, handles it decently and scores it inside. A true 2-way player.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="930932" first="Arthur" last="Kaluma"] (Dream City Christian)

-Another nationally ranked player has many tools to like. He is one of the stronger forwards in the country and handles the ball well. He defends the 3-5 and is an exceptional passer. He scores it mostly in the paint but can hit perimeter shots.

5-more

1. [player_tooltip player_id="703839" first="Elijah" last="Thomas"] (Valley Vista)

-A fast rising wing forward plays the 2-5 for the Monsoon. He has a pretty 3-ball, pull-up but then defends better than most posts to block shots and rebound with a high motor and athleticism. He just missed the top-5 group.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="703853" first="Jose" last="Miguel"] (Sequoia Pathway)

-A versatile wing who can play 3-4 positions in a pinch. He is a very underrated passer and a very good rebounder. He has a feathery touch from deep and a high IQ.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="809705" first="Jacob" last="Enriquez"] (Hamilton)

-A longer wing forward can play the 2-5 for the Huskies and defend all positions.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="809696" first="Jamison" last="Kay"] (Gila Ridge)

-A true combo-guard can play the 1-3. He is a very good shooter plus passer. He also can defend multiple positions.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="809725" first="Josh" last="Fletcher"] (Estrella Foothills)

-A tough and physical forward can play inside with the post players than take it outside and handle the ball like a guard.

Final-2 of the 115 juniors ranked:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="809701" first="Alex" last="Gaylor"] (Paradise Valley)

-Probably a natural 4-man but is versatile to play the 3 and 5 for the Trojans. He didn't get the chance to showcase his skills with an injury after his transfer but he'll breakout next year.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="809724" first="Dante" last="White"] (Higley)

-A thicker guard who can play the 2-4 in a pinch. He can defend all those positions with his length and strength. He had to sit out the year with the prior contact transfer rule and look for him to also breakout. The Knights should be better with him on the court.
