Class 6A has long been regarded at the class consistently with the best talent from top to bottom. This year 4A has an argument, but Class 6A remains at the top. This year featured so many talented players and would have been one heckuva state tournament. Sadly, we will never know how it would have ended. The athletes selected put up great performances all year long to earn a spot on the Prep Hoops Oklahoma All-State Team.

MVP: [player_tooltip player_id="535589" first="Bryce" last="Thompson"] Booker T. Washington

Thompson easily takes home MVP honors with a tremendous season for the Hornets. This season Thompson tallied 25.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.0 steal per game. It was very clear in case anyone had any doubt Thompson was the best prospect in the state of Oklahoma. That of course was solidified by his five-star status and McDonald’s All-American selection.

First Team

[player_tooltip player_id="535593" first="Trey" last="Phipps"] Booker T. Washington

[player_tooltip player_id="931187" first="Christian" last="Cook"] Midwest City

[player_tooltip player_id="609753" first="Sam" last="Godwin"] Southmoore

[player_tooltip player_id="745355" first="Sean" last="Pedulla"] Edmond Memorial

[player_tooltip player_id="535590" first="Rondel" last="Walker"] PC West

The first team is full of D1 talent left and right. [player_tooltip player_id="535590" first="Rondel" last="Walker"] and [player_tooltip player_id="535593" first="Trey" last="Phipps"] will go head to head twice a year in the BIG 12. [player_tooltip player_id="609753" first="Sam" last="Godwin"] is one of the biggest steals in the country for Wofford. Not to forget the only junior to make the first team [player_tooltip player_id="745355" first="Sean" last="Pedulla"] who already has several D1 offers on the table. Cook decided to not wait on potential D1 offers selecting East Central as his spot for the next four years. There is no doubt about it this team of five could give past years a run for their money. Phipps is a lethal shooting from behind the arc. Walker is the ultimate playmaker with the ball in his hands. Godwin impacts the game on both ends with his size, athleticism, and grit on the court. Cook can get you a bucket when you need it the most. Pedulla proved he could hang with the big boys running the show for Edmond Memorial.

Second Team

[player_tooltip player_id="609752" first="Jordan" last="Thompson"] Southmoore

[player_tooltip player_id="931186" first="Davon" last="Richardson"] Sand Springs

[player_tooltip player_id="955379" first="Chase" last="Martin"] Jenks

[player_tooltip player_id="609770" first="Seth" last="Chargois"] Union

[player_tooltip player_id="954194" first="JV" last="Seat"] Edmond Memorial

The second team has several guys who were very close to the first team. The headliner is [player_tooltip player_id="609752" first="Jordan" last="Thompson"] who had just an amazing senior season for Southmoore. Thompson can do it all at the Point Guard spot. Richardson is a major sleeper at Sand Springs. He can put up points with the best of them. Chargois rounds out the seniors in this team with a little bit of everything in his game on the Wing. Martin and Seat are two of the most talented 2022 prospects in the entire state. Seat was super productive in the paint and we saw him extend his game out behind the three-point line. Martin continues to take steps to be on track to possibly be the best player in his class.

Third Team

[player_tooltip player_id="931248" first="Micah" last="Lovett"] Union

[player_tooltip player_id="745358" first="Dalante" last="Shannon"] Edmond North

[player_tooltip player_id="745364" first="Makale" last="Smith"] Midwest City

Jalen Breath Booker T. Washington

[player_tooltip player_id="931191" first="Ashawnti" last="Hunter"] Lawton

The third team is full of guys who do not care who gets the credit they just want to win. Breath highlights the group with a big-time season inside for the Hornets. Lovett and Hunter are a duo of seniors who never get enough credit for the hard work they put in on the court. Shannon did not punch his ticket to the State Tournament this year, but yeesh did he have a great season. Shannon grew up a lot before our eyes this season. Last but not least Smith is a very underrated prospect for what he brought to the floor for the Bombers.

Fourth Team

[player_tooltip player_id="931198" first="MJ" last="Warrior"] PC West

[player_tooltip player_id="931192" first="Donovan" last="Vickers"] Edmond Santa Fe

[player_tooltip player_id="931217" first="RJ" last="Forney"] Union

[player_tooltip player_id="955381" first="Jamel" last="Graves"] Lawton

[player_tooltip player_id="931249" first="Ike" last="Houston"] Jenks

Warrior headlines the fourth team of the Oklahoma All-State squad. Warrior has been a constant vital piece of PC West. Vickers had a great finish to his career at Edmond Santa Fe the last half of the season. Forney is one of those glue guys that does not get the credit they deserve. Graves is a prospect to keep a very close eye on in the 2022 Class. Houston wrapped up his career going out with a bang at Jenks.
