2020 6’6 Isaac James | New Hope
The unsigned senior finished with an impressive stat line of 17 points and 18 rebounds. James finished well around the basket and chipped in four blocks on the defensive end. One thing that James has always been good at is his passing ability and getting teammates involved and that was fully on display Saturday, especially in transition.
2020 5’10 Delonnie Hunt | Rock Creek
Hunt is another unsigned senior that is one of the best playmakers in the area and always seems to have an impactful performance. Against a talented Norcross team, he finished with 19 points and was the spark on offense by either scoring the ball or setting up teammates which ultimately kept them in the game until the final horn.
2021 6’1 Eric Morgan | Woodrow Wilson
Morgan put on one of the best shooting performances of the day going 6/7 from deep while finishing with 24 points in Wilson’s win against Norfolk Collegiate. Morgan will be a key contributor to the Tigers during the rest of the season.
2021 6’2 Miasiah Brown | Woodrow Wilson
Brown took home MVP honors in Wilson’s first game against Virginia Academy after going for 20 points. Brown showed that he can score in a variety of ways and also a pesky defender who gets after it.
2022 6’5 Darren Buchanan Jr. | Woodrow Wilson
The hype is real for the number two prospect in our MD/DC 2022 rankings. Darren plays with super high energy and is evolving into a good leader as he was constantly vocal on Saturday. He has capabilities to take over games because of his size and athleticism and that is starting to really show at the varsity level. Buchanan has a bright future ahead of him.
