Vertical – not the tallest player on the team, but really got up on a jump ball in a way that was impressive. He used that ability to collect several rebounds over bigger opponents, too.
Passing – I saw several passes from him to cutters from his wing spot that led to baskets on layups or perimeter jumpers, or were just overall helpful in the flow of the Skyhawk offense.
Hustle / rebounding – Again, because of her vertical, and being in the right spot and boxing out well, he collected boards around and over bigger players, and never seemed like he was going to give up on a ball that was 50/50. Every team needs an energy guy, and in this game in particular, he was it.
Scoring in close – While in this game, he wasn’t needed to score a ton, being more a facilitator. Though, he did put in a few nice baskets on layups cutting to the bucket at the right times and finishing well with both hands.
