Baldwin (1-20, 0-11), Bonner Springs (20-3, 10-0), Eudora (10-10, 5-5), KC Piper (21-4, 8-1), Louisburg (9-14. 5-7), Ottawa (12-9, 7-2), Paola (6-16, 3-8), Spring Hill (13-11, 5-5), Tonganoxie (10-12, 3-8)
Rishaud Dockery, 6’1, G, 2020, Bonner Springs
A nice guard who can handle the ball some and score when he needs to. He is an aggressive player on both sides of the floor and has good speed and control in the transition game. He can connect from a distance and makes plays off the ball as well.
Kobe Johnson, 6’5, F, 2020, Ottawa
Played for KC Run GMC Red this summer, Johnson showed his versatility on both ends of the floor. He has a strong, physical frame with an emerging, diverse skill set. Johnson can handle pressure on the perimeter and also takes the ball inside. He runs the floor well, finishes in transition and showed the ability to knock down short shots on the baseline.
Cortland Hervey, 6’6, F, 2021, Bonner Springs
Also a football player, Hervey is a well built forward who has good hands, vision and shows some athleticism around the basket. He has good length and shows physicality and aggression on defense. He is an intelligent player and one who can make plays on both sides of the floor.
Julian Margrave, 6’6, G/F, 2022, Louisburg
After running with a talented KC Run GMC 15U squad this offseason, Margrave is poised for a breakout season in 2019-20. He showed good length and all-around skills on the varsity level as a freshman last season, knocking down outside shots, handling the ball a little and playing smart, high IQ basketball for a youngster. His improvement will be key for a Louisburg team that returns a lot of key parts this season.
Trey Moala, 6’4, F, 2022, Paola
Moala is an impressive forward on the rise who can dominate the boards on both sides of the floor. He runs hard and shows good length and overall physicality. He takes good chances and shows a clean jumper and the ability to get to the rim and score over older, more seasoned players. He can stretch the floor if he needs to and mixes things up on both ends, but he will always get a bucket.
