Last season, Aidyn Albright was a breakout freshman at Horizon where he had many high scoring games displaying his ability to shoot the ball from outside.
We were able to catch up with Aidyn as the season begins to approach us. This past July he played for his long time club coach Mark Brown with the Arizona Power Prospects. When asked about his July experience he said, “July was very successful!” What did Albright improve on? He proudly said, “I have improved my dribbling, jump shot, and defense.” What is he currently working on heading into this season? He made it a point that he said, “I’m working on my all around game, especially dribbling and shooting.”
Playing at Horizon is something Albright is proud of. He has high expectations saying, “I think we are going to have a good team this year! We have a lot of shooters and are a quick group and that fits Horizon’s system really good.” He went on to say that he enjoys playing with Horizon because “it’s a great group of guys and being a shooting guard in the system Coach Conner runs is a perfect fit!”
In terms of college interest Albright says he has gotten some letters from NAU, University of Portland , University of Nebraska, UCSB, and Greenville, NC.
Expect the interest and eventual offers start to pour in after a strong soon to be sophomore campaign!
