At 6’2, Bloch is a pass first player who enjoys getting others involved but can also shoot the 3, pull up for the mid-range off the bounce and is solid finisher and defender who isn’t afraid of taking a charge.
He says running with KC Run GMC has helped him take his game to a different level.
“Playing with Run GMC has been great for me as a player,” he said. “It made me have to make quicker decisions and elevated my game through confidence tremendously.
“I am set to improve my consistency and my finishing this year a lot. Also my main goals for the season are to win and state champions and to get player of the year.”
Bloch says he has had a lot of influences during this basketball career, including his father.
“My father who always made sure I could get to a workout and introduced me to the game of basketball,” Bloch said. “I know he always has my back and that means a lot. Also my high school coach, Jonathon Raney has pushed me day in and day out and trusted me on the court since day one to make me the player I am today.
“The last two are my basketball trainers Peter Fusilero and Isaiah Figuero who both have taught me valuable lessons and have made a better, much more confident player.”
A fan of Kobe Bryant, Bloch says he appreciates the mindset the former NBA star broiught to the game.
“I loved watching Kobe Bryant as a kid,” he says. “The main thing I really took from watching him was his toughness and confidence. You would never see that guy lose any confidence at all.”
He says he has been in contact with several Division I programs, including University of Nebraska Omaha and Utah State University.
