Matur Dhal 6’10 2021 PHH Prep
Dhal looks much improved in his short time so far with PHH Prep. You can tell that he has really improved in that short amount of time in terms of skill development, an area he has been lacking the last few years. Dhal looked really good and showed off some new and improved post moves. Before, he looked uncomfortable offensively but now he looks very confident scoring the ball.
Bear Cherry 6’7 2022 St. Mary’s
This kid could be really special. He is going to be a problem as he gets older and changes physically. He showed off his athleticism and willingness to shoot the deep ball. The younger brother of Taeshon Cherry has a chance to do things bigger and better than his older bro!
Micah Pierce 6’7 2022 Desert Vista
Micah always brings it defensively. That’s without question. He is really skilled at turning away shots and collecting boards. His issue is still scoring the ball. He scored underneath the basket but I’d love to see him extend his game a bit to the mid-range.
Ky Green 6’5 2023 Dream City Christian
Really impressed with his overall game and body. He is quite the physical specimen as an incoming freshman. Green has loads of potential and could be just as good as his older brother, Josh Green. He already shoots the ball very well but needs to work on his ball handling and shot selection to take his game to the next level. Both of those things should come naturally as he develops throughout high school.
