Up from No. 101Fitzgerald has really established himself this year as a two-way difference maker. Fitzgerald plays bigger than his size, a great athlete that elevates for rebounds in a crowd. Seth has stepped up for a smaller Milton frontcourt, capable of playing multiple positions. He’s a versatile defender and a talented scorer that can score the ball off the dribble or take his man into the post. Seth shoots it well from the mid-range and can erupt toward the basket after using a quick first step. He likes the turnaround jumper, tough to defend with the lift he gets on his shot. Fitzgerald has also looked comfortable initiating the offense when asked to be Milton’s primary ball handler. D-II programs should be circling him.

With 11 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block, Fitzgerald helped Milton grind out a win in a physical defensive battle. Seth fought hard to rip down rebounds in traffic and had to chin the ball and swing his elbows to get opponents away as each and every possession was hotly contested. Seth came up big when it mattered most, scoring all 11 of his points in the second half. He scored a key basket late, reading the defense and slipping toward the basket on a nice cut.

Fitzgerald is the definition of an inside-out forward, often starting possessions on the perimeter and  then working defenders down into the post. He’s got a really nice touch around the basket, especially on his turnaround jumper. At the rim, Fitzgerald finishes strong through contact and has great body control in the air.
