Continue ReadingUp from No. 43An explosive athlete and a true three-level scorer, Holloway can dazzle on the floor not just with his offensive prowess, but his complete game. Jeremiah is a stat sheet stuffer that will hit the glass, facilitate and defend at a high level, all while pouring in close to 20 points per game. He has deep three-point range, a soft mid-range and the strength and balance to score through contact on drives.
Up from No. 101Fitzgerald has really established himself this year as a two-way difference maker. Fitzgerald plays bigger than his size, a great athlete that elevates for rebounds in a crowd. Seth has stepped up for a smaller Milton frontcourt, capable of playing multiple positions. He’s a versatile defender and a talented scorer that can score the ball off the dribble or take his man into the post. Seth shoots it well from the mid-range and can erupt toward the basket after using a quick first step. He likes the turnaround jumper, tough to defend with the lift he gets on his shot. Fitzgerald has also looked comfortable initiating the offense when asked to be Milton’s primary ball handler. D-II programs should be circling him.
Up from No. 77In the running for Class 4A Most Improved Player, RJ Kennedy RJ Kennedy 6’1″ | CG Fayette County | 2023 State GA has blossomed his senior year upping his averages from 13.3 points, 1.4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.2 steals to 23.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Kennedy attacks from all spots on the floor, hitting 33% of his threes, 61% of his twos and 66% from the foul line. Clayton State offered in February.
Up from No. 85LJ was a preseason pick to potentially win Class A D-I Most Improved Player and he’s lived to the billing, recording some explosive games. Jackson, averaging over 20 points per game, has developed into a knockdown shooter off the bounce. Already a tremendous athlete that can get to the rim, the three-ball has become a major weapon in Jackson’s game. He’s a high-energy player that gets after it on defense and can outrebound most guards.
Up from No. 165There are interesting physical tools that Damonte Pellot Damonte Pellot 6’3″ | PG North Cobb | 2023 State GA possesses. At 6-foot-3, he is a big point guard that can also play off the ball. Pellot is a strong athlete with a good burst to the rim, but also can pepper defenses with his mid-range jumper. Damonte has quick hands defensively, able to suffocate smaller guards. Pellot continues to trend in the right direction.
Up from No. 123Hampton offered the electrifying highlight reel. Ewing’s a freak athlete that finishes everything with a dunk. He can be a lockdown defender with his lateral quickness and active hands. His outside shooting still needs to improve, but his upside is apparent. He’s averaging 14.8 points, 5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals.
Up from No. 177The Region 6-7A Player of the Year has earned his stripes, a consistent scorer that nets over 20 points per game. He plays with pace, able to get defenders on their heels when getting to the hoop. Niko’s outside shooting is an issue to contend with, accurate off the catch but also able to pull-up off the dribble. Wilson is an aggressive defender that has a knack for swiping away steals. Moberly Area Community College has offered.
