Eddie Simon 6’2″ Whitfield: The active wing player had a very impressive camp as he played with high energy throughout the evening. He was excellent on the offensive boards and made many extra effort plays that got my attention. His skills were on display as well as he made several jumpers off the dribble and even a few from 3-point range.
Nathan Hall 6’7″ Collinsville (IL): A long and lean combo forward from metro St. Louis who is mobile and very skilled, thus creating a matchup problem. He had some very nice takes from the perimeter to the bucket and finished well at the rim. His shooting touch around the basket was good and he can run the court with ease.
Marlon Owens 5’9″ McCluer North: A quick point guard who plays with a lot of pace as he pushes the tempo whenever possible. Despite being small, he is physically strong and fearless and it shows as he penetrates into the lane to take on the trees. He is usually looking to score, but he did have some nice drop-offs to the bigs inside for buckets.
Brandon Ming 6’3″ University City: An athletic wing who was an impressive bucket getter during the camp before turning an ankle. He’s very offensive minded and he was constantly putting pressure on the defense by attacking the basket. He had some very good finishes at the rim to go along with an effective pull up jumper.
Nathan Parker 6’3″ Eureka: A solid wing player who does a lot of good things to help his team even when he doesn’t have the ball. He will get himself open with good movement and solid cuts and he is a very willing passer who finds the open man. He also did a good job of making his open shots. An unselfish player who makes his team better.

Ray Horry 5’9″ Christian-O’Fallon: A very impressive young point guard who has very good court vision and a high basketball IQ. He was able to get into the lane and get buckets with his quickness and some slick escape moves off the dribble. He combines that with a feathery touch from 3-point range to make him and potent offensive threat.
Kameron Taylor 5’6″ St. Mary’s: The tiny point guard was one of the most impressive guards at the camp with his ability to get in lane whenever he wanted and score at all three levels. He ran the pick and roll expertly with nice passes to rolling bigs and short jumpers and 3-pointers off the screen. He utilized his speed and quickness well and made good decisions with the ball.
