MVP: 6’1 Luke Proctor, BigShots Elite North Carolina
Luke Proctor exploded in the final game of the weekend with 30 points and eight 3-pointers in the title game against WCBA 2021. As the team trailed late, Proctor really turned it on with a masterful performance down the stretch. He’s one guard that can fill it up from behind the arc and has tons of upside in the 2021 class.
6’4 Toby Harris, BigShots Elite North Carolina. 2021
Toby Harris is another player from BigShots Elite North Carolina who lit it up from behind the arc and then some. He finished second in the division in 3-pointers made with seven, including three in the title game. He’s an emerging prospect at 6-foot-4 that is growing with confidence on the wing shooting the 3-ball.
6’5 Harper Strickland, WCBA, 2021
Harper Strickland is another 2021 prospect whose confidence is growing the more he drives to the basket. He showed off his ability to get to the rim and finish through contact all weekend long. He finished fifth in the division with 16.7 points per game and put up 20 points as the team’s primary scorer in the 16U title game.
6’2 Zach Riddle, Charlotte Dragons, 2021
Zach Riddle was one of the bright spots alongside Noah McClanahan on the Charlotte Dragons. When it was all said and done, Riddle led the division in total points (65) and scoring average with 21.7 points per game. The most important thing to note is he did a majority of his scoring inside the 3-point arc. He’s a scoring guard with a solid ability to create his own shot.
6’5 Max Washington, West Virginia Reign Elite, 2021
Max Washington was a solid prospect to watch as he scored on all three levels with two 20-point games under his belt by the end of the weekend. He’s an emerging forward that can get to the rim as well knock down the 3-pointer when needed. With his size and length, he was also tough to keep track on the boards. He’s one prospect to keep eyes on for college coaches.
6’5 Jayvon Mercer, WCBA, 2021
Jayvon Mercer was another top scorer in the 16U division and also held his own as the glass as he’s done many tournaments before this one. This time around he put up 21.0 points per game, scoring 23 points and 19 points in their games during pool play. He’s an emerging forward that will get tons of looks very soon from college coaches.
