Joe Bamisile – 6’5 – 195 – Monacan High School – 2020
Joe Bamisile is an intriguing prospect at 6-foot-5, 195-pounds. He’s got solid length and wingspan for a player of his size that could allow him to become a versatile player in some rotations. His strength is also an underrated trait. He used his body and size to get to the rim at an impressive rate, including a fastbreak windmill dunk.
Cameron Fletcher – 6’7 – 195 – Vashon High School – 2020
Cameron Fletcher was an aggressive player with the ball in his hands on Day 1. He attacked the basket with an added confidence, taking on the reins of scoring leader for his squad. He showed leadership in getting to the basket and making plays for others.
Cam Hayes – 6’1 – 175 – Greensboro Day School – 2021
Cam Hayes is an emerging combo guard prospect. He’s still learning the point guard position and learning how to keep others involved. He showed confidence in his shot from all over the floor and showed off a solid jumper in space.
Andre Jackson – 6’6 – 190 – Albany Academy – 2020
Andre Jackson turned heads on numerous occasions with his athleticism. He’s a long, wiry prospect that can get up when given open space. He showed off a burst on the wing as his team’s primary slasher. As he learns to attack the basket, look for his stock to grow.
Eddie Lampkin – 6’9 – 250 – Morton Ranch – 2020
Eddie Lampkin is a big body in the paint that had a number of thunderous finishes that really made his opponents feel his presence on the floor. Lampkin was on a healthy diet of poster dunks during his team’s run of games on Day 1. He did a solid job of establishing position down low and finishing with dunks. He also runs both ends well for a player of his size.
Andre Curbelo – 6’1 – 170 – Long Island Lutheran – 2020
Andre Curbelo is a point guard prospect that does a really good job controlling the tempo of the game with his play. He can score on all three levels and did a solid job of getting his teammates involved with a number of solid assists. It will be interesting to see what kind of week he has as one of the top point guard prospects.
Mark Williams – 7’0 – 225 – Norfolk Academy – 2020
Mark Williams is a dynamic 7-footer that runs the floor like a big man but can really stretch things with his developing jump shot. Williams has high-major potential for his presence on the defensive interior and on the boards already. As he develops the rest of his game, look out for him to dominate the week.
Keon Johnson – 6’7 – 180 – Webb School – 2020
Keon Johnson is a player with underrated athleticism and developing all-around game. He doesn’t look like an aggressive slasher until the ball in his hands and he’s already put the defender on a poster. He had a number of high-octane finishes on the break and in the halfcourt that turned heads.
Jayden Stone – 6’2 – 175 – Sunrise Christian – 2020
Jayden Stone is an emerging two-way star. He had a number of on-ball stops that finished with him above the rim or cashing in on easy layup. Stone is a player that picks up 90-feet and an aggressive player with the ball in his hands. He’s developing his all-around floor game and as he does, he’s one player whose stock could rise this upcoming season.
Jaemyn Brakefield – 6’8 – 210 – Huntington Prep – 2020
Jaemyn Brakefield is a versatile forward prospect that can post-up with his back to the basket as well stretch the floor with his jump shot. He isn’t an efficient shooter just yet, but an aspect of his game that is developing.
Dontrez Styles – 6’7 – 175 – Kinston High School – 2021
Dontrez Styles is an active forward that’s figuring it out on both ends. He showed confidence with his outside shot, knocking down a few 3-pointers but didn’t hesitate to drive down low and get some easy buckets in the post. He’s a player that uses his body well to get to the rim and draw fouls.
Jabri Abdur-Rahim – 6’7 – 205 – Blair Academy – 2020
Jabri Abdur-Rahim is a real difference maker when he’s on the floor. He can get to the rim with ease and is unselfish by getting his teammates involved in the action. With his frame at 205-pounds, he’s a bear to defend against with his strength and length.
