Continue ReadingAfter sitting a year out due to transfer rules 2018 wing prospect Jared Martin is ready & eager to get back on the floor for the Saguaro High School Sabercats after having a standout freshman campaign for Arcadia High School. While sitting out, Martin spent time like the gym rat he is working on his game and his strength.
Martin is a long wing who has a knack for hitting shots from deep. While he has a lot to continue to work on in his all around game, his work ethic & passion will continue to get him to where he wants to be. This past spring & summer he has played for Alvin Gentry Elite and his performance on the floor has taken notice of many national scouts & scouting services as well as division 1 schools such as Northern Arizona University & Pepperdine University. After the July viewing period expect more interest to generate. Martin has spent time on both campuses and is enjoying the beginning of the recruiting process.
Martin had a great June playing for Saguaro in the Paradise Valley Summer League & other team camps such as Grand Canyon University Team Camp among other events. Outside of that he has spent time working on his game with former Chaparral High School & Arizona State University player Jarret Upchurch.
