Javon Benson – Ridge View HS – Carolina Wolves (pictured on front)
Benson is extremely skilled for his size. Benson 6’8 was able to play inside-out on the floor and connected on several three pointers today. Benson was a key part of the Blazers 2nd straight championship this season. Benson alters and challenges shots on the defensive end and tends to rebound everything in site. Benson brought the ball up the floor on several occasions today.
Jahnarious Snell – Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS – Carolina Wolves
Snell came back to Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS this past December 2018 after enrolling at Combine Academy in Lincolnton, NC. Snell has great size at the shooting guard spot and a quick shot release. Snell connected on several three pointers from downtown. Snell was very active in the passing lanes with several deflections on the defensive end.
Latavian Lawrence
Latavian Lawrence – Silver Bluff HS – Upward Stars Riverfront
Lawrence 6’5 is a very versatile athlete. Lawrence really plays with a high motor on the floor and also on the football field for the Bulldogs. Lawrence plays wide receiver on the football team. Lawrence has the ability to play inside-out with his athleticism, Lawrence has a long and rangy frame.
Darius Perry
Darius Perry – Lee Central HS (Bishopville) – Team USC
Perry 6’6 is still fairly new to the game of basketball. Perry played this past season for the Stallions after attending Airport HS. Perry has the ability to show some solid glimpses from time to time on the floor. Perry has made great strides since just a year ago on the floor. Perry is a mover-screener who works it from block to block in the paint. Perry tends to keep the ball up high and has a nice soft touch on the free throw line.
Perry will also play Grassroots ball with Upward Stars Columbia .
