Clarendon Hall (Summerton) 61 Newberry Academy 35
The Saints stayed perfect on the season at (28-0) after defeating Newberry Academy. Traveon Davis led the way with 20 points while Kylic Horton added 14 points. Zyan Gilmore and Tyrese Mitchum both chipped in with 9 and 8 points respectively.
Payton Gardner took high honors for Newberry Academy with 17 points in the loss.
Richard Winn Academy (Winnsboro) 51 Beaufort Academy 48
The Battle of the Eagles went to RWA. The Richard Winn Academy Eagles advances to Thursday to the semifinals to play Clarendon Hall. The Eagles were led in scoring by Darius Boyd with 21 points while Hudson Wade added 17 points.
Beaufort Academy were led in scoring by Dawson Coleman and Jaylen Reeves both added 16 points for the Eagles .
Anderson Christian 71 Faith Christian (Summerville) 54
The Lions the defending back to back champions move into the semifinals with the victory. The Lions had balanced scoring with Dre Washington 19 points, Omacio Brownlee 18 points and Hudson Brown 17 points.
The Knights fell short after defeating Andrew Jackson academy in the Sweet 16. Levi Watts led the way with 21 points while point guard Daniel Brown added 16 points in the loss.
Cathedral Academy 65 Dorchester Academy 49
The Generals prevailed over the feisty Raiders to move onto the semifinals. The Generals were led by Heston Foster with 27 points. Cajhae Tucker chipped in with 12 points while John Price made a brief return after getting hurt back in December with a high ankle sprain. Price has signed to play at North Greenville University (SC) next season as a place kicker on the football team.
