Here are 10 exciting seniors to watch:
B. Artis White (5’11”, PG, Canton)
B. Artis White is as quick as they come. He’s a top notch defender who contains his man with his feet. B. Artis White can attack the basket and pull up for a dangerous mid range jumper.
Julian Dozier (5’10”, PG, UD Jesuit)
He’s like an orchestra conductor with the basketball. Dozier controls the pace of the game, helped by the his incredible start-stop quickness. He can draw defenders, put his teammates in the right spot, and deliver a pinpoint pass.
Dylan Jergens (5’11”, PG, Howardsville Christian)
The 3 point shot is all the rage these days, so why not go see one of the best in the state at it? Not ‘best in the state’ this year…….this decade maybe. Jergens is regularly breaking scoring and shooting records this season.
Isaiah Lewis (5’11”, PG, Wayne Memorial)
Lewis is a quiet and confident leader. He’s so smart on the floor, always recognizing when his team needs a bucket. Lewis is an elite shooter from behind the arc.
Drew Lowder (6’0″, PG, Ann Arbor Pioneer)
Lowder has no off switch on the court. He’s one of the quickest and fastest players on the floor at all times. Lowder is a scoring lead guard that aggressively attacks the basket.
Luke Maranka (6’11”, PF, Grand Rapids Angels)
Maranka might be the top pure athlete 6’10” or over. He has a distinct reputation for delivering poster worthy dunks. Maranka also has a very sound and efficient jumper.
Joe Moon (6’1″, CG, Westland John Glenn)
Moon is simply having an outstanding senior season. He’s proving to be a top notch scorer at the guard position. Moon recently went off for 44 points in a game.
Brian Taylor (6’6″, SF, DEPSA)
Taylor is a must see player this season. He is smooth and athletic, making the game look too easy. Taylor is a 2 way player who steps up on the defensive end as well.
Ryan Wade (6’3″, SG, Ann Arbor Skyline)
Wade is an electric athlete. He’s a top notch shooter with a quick release that defenders have trouble contesting. Wade is one of the top perimeter defenders in Michigan, using his long wing span to cut off passing lanes.
Romeo Weems (6’6″, SF, New Haven)
Weems does everything, and he does everything well. He’s one of the best all around players in the country. Weems is a seasoned athlete with a college ready physique.
