Plus shot blocker that is a presence in the lane on the defensive end. Keeps the ball high in the post, but is fairly raw as a post scorer. Passes well on the block when the double comes as well as throwing outlets. Potential D1 prospect.
How was his freshman campaign at Providence St. Mel?
“It was rough at the beginning. Toward the end I got adjusted and basically as long as you know what you are doing you will be successful.”
Neal who runs with Chicago Select 15U knows what his strengths are as a player.
“Blocking shots and grabbing rebounds.”
No offers yet, but he is hearing from several schools early in the process as one of the top centers in the class of 2019.
“I have heard from Alcorn State, Iowa State, DePaul, and Western Illinois.”
