Jaehshon Thomas (Aurora Christian)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #20
Thomas broke out early in the season at the Washington Tournament of Champions. We came away extremely impressed with his playmaking ability at a young age. On a team with several talented college prospects he made a statement with his play during the Thanksgiving tournament. Just an overall excellent feel for the game. Picks his spots as a scorer. Can get points off the dribble and is a quality three point shooter as well.
Landon Moore (Bloomington)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #44
Moore has been solid throughout his sophomore season as a lead guard and distributor, but it was his play at the Chicago Elite Classic that ignited his year. He was lights out from three shooting the ball going 5-8 from deep. Shot it with a ton of confidence stepping into his shot each time like it was going in. His game will need to continue to round out, but it was quite a performance from the young central Illinois guard.
Jhei-R Jones (Lincoln Way East)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #59
This smaller scoring point guard had a monster performance when we saw him against Naperville Central. Quick twitched point guard who can really score. Burst with the rock in his hands. Couple acrobatic layups and proved to be an adequate shooter as well hitting threes and mid-range jumpers.
Isaiah Holden (Evanston)
Previous Ranking: #98
Current Ranking: #74
Isaiah is the next Holden point guard in line at Evanston. The sophomore guard is a smaller point who is most effective as a shooter. Drilled a handful with sound mechanics at the Centralia Holiday Tournament.
